Check resolution options
Open Settings → Resolution and check which display modes your current setup exposes. [4]
- Look for 3440×1440 in the resolution list.
- Select it only if the mode appears and the image fits your display; otherwise choose a listed mode.
- Treat Update 1.006 as crash-fix context for ultrawide and non-standard resolutions, not as confirmation of a native 3440×1440 mode. [1] [2]
If 3440×1440 is missing, continue to the Windows or Proton installation path below and verify the mode in the resolution menu after installation. [3]
Install Display Tweaks on Windows
The mod page lists 3440×1440 as tested and requires BepInEx 5.4.23.5. If you do not have BepInEx, download the package that includes it; if you already have BepInEx 5, use the plugin-only file. [3]
Windows: install the package with BepInEx
- Open the GK2 Display Tweaks files page and download the package that includes BepInEx.
- Extract the package contents directly into the Graveyard Keeper 2 installation folder. Keep the archive’s folder structure when extracting it.
- Start the game and open Settings → Resolution. Look for 3440×1440; select it only if it appears.
- Check the image on your monitor. If it is stretched, cropped, or the mode is missing, return to the resolution menu and choose a listed mode while you check the installation.
Already have BepInEx? Use the plugin-only file
Use the plugin-only download only when BepInEx 5 is already installed. Copy GK2DisplayTweaks.dll into BepInEx/plugins/, start the game, and check Settings → Resolution again. If the new display settings do not appear, check that BepInEx 5.4.23.5 is installed and that the DLL is inside the plugins folder—not beside it. [3]
Linux through Steam Proton
If you run the game on Linux through Steam Proton, add this launch option:
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winhttp.dll=n,b" %command%
Add it in the game’s Steam launch options, then start the game and check Settings → Resolution for 3440×1440. The mode was tested on Linux with Proton, but it may not work on every display or setup. [3]
